Bringing the Cause of Christ

Gods desire is for the salvation of all, John 3:16 ” for God so love that world that He gave His only begotten Son”. His great desire is for us to experience life in abundance, life to the full, Jeremiah 29 “for I know well the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans for your welfare not for woe, plans to give you a future full of hope”.

But it doesn’t end there. As we experience that abundance, our duty is to speak and share about it. We are blessed to have a life that we have, but reality shows that not all are experiencing what they are supposed to be experiencing, a lot are deprived of what is due of them in accordance to Gods plan.

We are commissioned by God to share, to speak, and to witness. We are evangelizers, and are cause is to let other people see and experience that great plan of God, prepared for us and made for us.

Gods Cause is should be shared to all. CFC SFL is DESTINED to live out that CAUSE!

Lord Jesus,
you were born of the Virgin Mary,
the daughter of Saints Joachim and Anne.
Look with love on grandparents the world over.
Protect them! They are a source of enrichment
for families, for the Church and for all of society.

Support them! As they grow older,
may they continue to be for their families
strong pillars of Gospel faith,
guardian of noble domestic ideals,
living treasuries of sound religious traditions.
Make them teachers of wisdom and courage,
that they may pass on to future generations the fruits
of their mature human and spiritual experience.

Lord Jesus,
help families and society
to value the presence and roles of grandparents.
May they never be ignored or excluded,
but always encounter respect and love.
Help them to live serenely and to feel welcomed
in all the years of life which you give them.

Mary, Mother of all the living,
keep grandparents constantly in your care,
accompany them on their earthly pilgrimage,
and by your prayers, grant that all families
may one day be reunited in our heavenly homeland,
where you await all humanity for the great
embrace of life without end. Amen!

CFC SFL ENTRUSTED CONFERENCE

To our dear SFL Coordinators, Christ peace be with you!  Two days to go till ENTRUSTED conference for South Luzon!!! We would just like to share to you the notes from our Servant General's teaching last  Seniors Assembly.  This teaching is an affirmation on the path that SFL is taking through Entrusted conference.   To bring the cause of Christ to single men and women all over the world is to witness to and serve brothers and sisters as the Good Shepherd did for His flock. Ours is an anointing and a sacred duty towards God’s people – His most beloved flock. Even as we are called to take care of our household, our district, or our mission area, we are also part of a flock that needs the guidance of the Shepherd. We look to Jesus and we follow His voice for He is the ultimate Good Shepherd – the model servant-leader of all. As SFL grows as a ministry, the development of servant-leaders who are empowered and committed to be good shepherds of the flock entrusted to them becomes critical. This conference aims to address the need to train leaders who can be true instruments of spiritual nourishment and life-giving pastoral support to members who desire to grow in their love and service for the Lord.
